The Scene
Faux orchids and faded red Tsingtao paper lanterns minimally decorate this brightly lit dining room. Consistently buzzing with local noodle addicts, the cacophonous space makes conversation nearly impossible. Servers are efficient and no-nonsense, much like their surroundings.
The Food
Since the encyclopedic menu can be daunting, in-the-know diners stick to the ever-popular hand-pulled noodles, dumplings and ''dry-fried'' dishes. Pleasingly pliant handmade noodles easily withstand their bold, assertive sauces. Arriving in heaping bowls, these dense, slick strands are beautifully paired with bites of varied seafood swimming in a fiery sauce or a slippery, robust black bean sauce studded with beef and seafood.
