The Cuban cuisine at Paladar (pulled pork, plantains, black beans and yucca) is faithfully authentic, though thankfully it stops short of true Fidel-ity with its large portions and plentiful options. The Cubano sandwich is slow-roasted pork & pickle perfection, and side orders like fried plantians and black beans will fill you up without emptying your wallet. The restaurant itself is bistro style, filled with office lunchers packed into a dozen or so snug two-tops (read: not good for groups) beneath black-and-white photos of Cuba in its heyday.
