They have decent pho here. The broth doesn't taste like it came from a jar or packet, but at the same time, it's not spectacular. The beef brisket pieces...read more

Family-run, with the fresh-faced kids up front and the mom and pop cooks in back, and is a combination of deli, coffee house and Hawaiian BBQ spot (though not even most the strangest schizo-restaurant on the block; see the chinese food/donut shop on the corner of Golden Gate and Larkin). The paninis, wraps and sandwiches are large, filling and under $6, made with Boar's Head meats and cheeses, and come with a little side salad. The Hawaiian BBQ menu includes Loco Moco, chicken katsu, and Spam and eggs, plus god-this-place-is-cheap combos like the daily special--meat of the day, fried rice, three egg rolls and soup, or about 2 lbs. of food for $5.75. Illy coffee and espresso are also available.
