The Scene
A cascading water wall at the entrance, bamboo walls, sexy lighting and earth tones throughout set the stylish tone at this loft-like locale. A chic lounge offers cushy cube seating; a metallic mesh curtain separates the adjacent candle-lit dining room. An upstairs dining area offers floor-to-ceiling, chocolate-hued leather booths for maximum privacy and comfort.
The Food
East-meets-West fusion is creative but accessible. Hospitable servers deliver starters like guava-glazed baby back ribs that toe the line between sweet and spicy. A grilled Kobe beef and crab cake entrée makes for a modern twist on surf 'n' turf, while a savory adobo-crusted rack of lamb comes with Yucca onion pancake, bok choy, and melted cabbage. With so many good eats in the apps and mains, standard salads and sides seem less appealing. Top it off with delectable dulce de leche empanadas with creamy queso fresco and fruit salsa.
