The gritty view of Market Street clashes with the worn refinement at this restaurant inside the Hotel Whitcomb. After walking past an elaborate chandelier and a huge bar under stained glass skylights, patrons are seated in equestrian-themed tapestry chairs surrounded by other British-countryside decorative touches. Servers are quietly efficient and professional. Simple cuisine with upscale options like truffled French fries, pasta dishes with seasonal produce, or the crab cakes with mizuna and hosui pear is served to tourists and to the after-show crowds from the nearby Orpheum Theater, Opera and Symphony.
