In Short
Walls decorated with menus from now-defunct Angeleno eateries line the walls of this tiny restaurant. Outside, chatty locals and their dogs lounge at sidewalk tables. Chef-owner Ed LaDou made pizza an art form at Spago and California Pizza Kitchen and these pies also feature thin crusts and imaginative toppings--from barbecue chicken to grilled eggplant to oysters Rockefeller. As a side, the ''Maternity Salad'' of Gorgonzola, balsamic vinegar and walnuts is legendary.
