In Short
With its warm, inviting atmosphere, Mezzo Mondo is reminiscent of a close friend's dining room. Wooden wine racks, oversized mirrors reflecting soft light, and cutlery clanging in the kitchen add to the homey feel. For balmy evenings, there's an outdoor patio framed with terra-cotta flowerpots. The grilled vegetable starter includes zucchini, carrots, peppers and asparagus tossed in goat cheese; antipasto and the seafood-and-citrus-mixed insalata four-o-five are other options. Sauteed onions, peas and corn come atop Battuta di Pollo.
