The Scene
Located in the Pavillions shopping center, Piatti draws the faux-fur-wearing, pantyhose-and-suit types in droves. Throw in about a dozen people celebrating something and some fun-lovers hovering in the bar and you've got a good picture of the clientele. -
The Food
Piatti is a chain, but the food here doesn't taste at all generic. The menu changes with the seasons, and the ingredients, like homemade fennel sausage, are always imaginative. Many dishes feature favorites like goat cheese, arugula and cream sauce. Balsamic vinegar and virgin olive oil collide to make the best dipping sauce for bread you've ever encountered. The minced garlic and chili flakes make all the difference to this puddle of perfection brought to every table. Oven baked pizzas shine, and anything with the rotisserie chicken included is sure to delight.
