The Scene
This fairly plain brewpub appears to have been a former warehouse--the beams and roof are exposed and painted white, while the floors are a mix of concrete and ceramic tile. The stainless-steel vats for brewing, enclosed behind wide glass windows, line the east wall. The crowd is mostly 20- and 30-somethings, with a smattering of older patrons.

The Draw
If you like the heat, try the ''famous'' Rubicon wings. Succulent and loaded with spices, their vinegary aroma smacks you in the nose before the first bite. Fortunately, the inferno in your mouth is extinguishable with a gulp or two of Rubicon brew. The Reuben sandwich is another goodie, as are the fish tacos.
