Fancy decor and prices belie standard Chinese fare at this PCH bistro.
In Short This slick Chinese dinner spot has dim, ultra-modern atmosphere that wouldn't have been out of place in the late '80s, when cell phones were bigger than the portions. While casual surfers hang at the bar, families and power-suit couples fill two dining areas for standard Chinese fare--there isn't much that wouldn't be found at a local Chinese dive. The calamari appetizer is laced with cilantro and shrimp served in garlic butter sauce, while run of the mill entrees include kung pao chicken and Mongolian beef.
