A combination stand-up or sit-down restaurant, this SoCal institution packs orders in paper bags--no matter whether diners are eating in or taking the food to go. Famous for its signature peppery, pink pastrami dip; the thinly shaved meat is griddle-fried and strewn across French rolls, accompanied by dill pickles and mustard.
