Owner Brad Evarts has re-created the festive sights, sounds and tastes of Mexico at his Carlsbad eatery. Surrounded by south of the border décor, bubbling fountains and glowing candles, diners enjoy recipes from the Jalisco shore. Along with specialties such as ahi tuna tostadas, beef and shrimp brochettes grilled tableside, and torta de enchilada verde, the menu includes traditional combo platters, a variety of tacos and burritos, plus custard-filled chimichangas, tostada sundaes and caramel apple empanadas.
