The Scene
Floral bouquets, soft yellow walls, velvet curtains and black-and-white photos create an understated elegance. Although a restaurant this expensive could feel stuffy, Citron is unpretentious and mellow. Professionals and an older crowd patronize the place for its civilized atmosphere and reasonable acoustics. Service is gracious, but occasionally inattentive.

Chef Christopher Rossi's French-inspired menu features 11 new dishes every few weeks. The beautifully presented, moderately sized portions feature mild, well-matched flavors but often want for salt and pepper.
