In 1995, two small franchises--Papa Aldo's Pizza and Murphy's Pizza--merged, forming a nationwide take-and-bake chain. The dough is prepared in-house daily, and topped with fresh cheese and basic (pepperoni, mushroom, olives) or gourmet (chicken, artichoke, spinach, herbs) combinations.
