Restaurant serves premium Kobe-brand Wagyu beef, fresh seafood, and a variety of chicken, pasta and vegetarian options at reasonable prices.
A South Bay steakhouse that pleases both young and old with its butter-tender steaks and elegant atmosphere.
The Scene The restaurant balances the hipness that young Los Gatos residents desire with the elegance required to please regular steakhouse patrons. The gorgeous interior features dark woods, white tablecloths and a fireplace that faces the main dining room. There is also a bar area that attracts a steady flow of snazzily dressed patrons.
The Food Perfectly cooked cuts of prime beef have made this one of the toughest reservations in the South Bay. For starters, try pan-seared ahi tuna served with a refreshing slaw of green papaya and mango. Slow-roasted prime rib, rich with its own juice, is served with creamy horseradish sauce. Other succulent cuts come with a choice of sauce, including red-wine reduction, cognac peppercorn and Maui onion cream. The boneless, braised Asian pear short ribs, glazed with a sweet teriyaki barbecue marinade, may be the best selection on the menu. For dessert, order the warm apple cinnamon crisp with vanilla bean gelato.
