This beachfront cafe establishes itself with its Swiss flag and yellow Bitburger awnings that blow in the Pacific breeze. Grab a metal chair at an outdoor table--or, if it's crowded, an indoor bay window table--and order a cold Erdinger Weizenbier to enjoy a slice of SoCal life. The extensive beer selection and beach-cafe fare (from burgers to pizzas) are enhanced by a selection of authentic Swiss food, including bundnerteller (dried beef and cheese) and bratwurst.
