In Short
Culver City's hip foodie energy fuels another dining den, this time paying tribute to Chicago's famous party street--and also filling a gaping nightlife void. Dinner draws neighborhood families, artists and a savvy Sony crowd chatting it up among the lofty two-story room of exposed brick, leather booths, and larger-than-life contemporary art. A Chicago-style spin on the American gastropub turns out roasted marrow bones, seared sand dabs, lamb chops and brick oven pizzas, as well as tempting bar bites like dry aged beef sliders and truffle asiago fries. After 10pm, DJs make it a true destination bar for a young, high-octane crowd in the upstairs lounge dressed in clubby baroque decor and centered by a ''structural'' stripper pole that attracts not a few uninhibited guests.
