Under the direction of chef Matthew Gladstone, who has previously transformed menus at the Mint and the Formosa, this venture promises to up the kitchen ante from its former incarnation as part of the Acapulco chain. Expect a mix of thin crust pizza, Italian sandwiches and eclectic small plates. The food is only a small part of the scene--a big portion of the 10,000-plus square feet is all about drinking, and nightly entertainment ranges from karaoke to '80s cover bands.
