In Short
A sleek, all-white facade dresses up the bungalow-style restaurant and lounge at this chic west Melrose hot spot. The sparkling A-frame dining room features with dark mahogany floors and red Murano crystal chandeliers (naturally), while the lounge--which opened in September 2008 after a complete refresh--is awash in the same milky hue, creating a dreamy landscape with cushy chairs, ottomans and champagne-colored lighting that just makes everyone look so damn good. Power agents, singles and after-work loungers grab one of the many speciality cocktails at the bar before heading over to the main room's padded leather banquettes appointed with white tablecloths and immaculate white-tufted chairs. As for the food, chef Luciano Sautto, a native Italian, has reinvigorated the menu with his handcrafted pastas like fettuccini with creme fraiche, vodka and lime juice, topped with caviar.
