In Short
Beyond the charming patio out front, the foyer is decked out with movie memorabilia and photos paying homage to Silver Lake's (formerly Edendale's) prominence in the silent film industry. The adjacent dining room features hardwood floors, maroon overtones, formally set tables and windows opening up to the adjacent Mixville bar--the real draw at Edendale. On the menu, classic American fare flirts with international influences and modern techniques. While selections change every few months, standbys include bacon-wrapped meatloaf and a half-pound Niman Ranch burger. You'll also find a few seafood offerings ranging from moules frites to a salmon filet. Sunday brunch features crab cakes benedict, scrambled eggs and a croissant sandwich stuffed with ham, gruyere and a fried egg.
