Don't let the thought of fusion cuisine turn you off; crowds of Vanessa's regulars know that this mother/daughter-run restaurant is full of winning combinations. They also know to make reservations, especially for one of the tables outside on the bamboo-bordered patio. Curious gourmands are grateful for the small-plates setup so they can taste a bit of everything from French onion soup to chicken coconut curry and fusion feats such as five spices maple duck confit.
