This restaurant in the historic Claremont Resort & Spa maintains its Mediterranean charm with tall arches and red-and-yellow-hued cocktail table seating in the bar. Further back in the space, the decor is muted allowing the San Francisco view to take center stage. A five-course prix fixe menu provides a sampling of Chef Thomas Hanson's freshly herbed seasonal and seafood creations. A Sunday buffet brunch featuring omelet, carving and dessert stations is popular in the Berkeley Hills--with or without champagne.
