The Scene
The oyster bar boasts many devotees but the regular bar offers delights of its own, including an astonishingly large selection of wine by the glass. Late-night dining continues as long as customers order food, which means service after 11pm if there are enough patrons to keep the chef busy.

The Food
Fresh seafood hooks most diners at this trendy locale, but assorted American regional dishes also add splash. The menu evolves seasonally, but during the summer Kingfisher offers themed specials that highlight a different region every few weeks. Depending on the season, you might find salmon tostadas, pasta with grilled vegetables or buffalo prime rib. The pan-fried crab cakes with spicy Thai chili sauce are out of this world. And, of course, there are always raw oysters on the half-shell.
