Oddly sandwiched between Office Max and Mailboxes Etc., is a low-key upscale deli serving sandwiches, salads, wines and coffee drinks. This charming spot, run by a young couple from Sonoma, proves that location, location, location is not the be-all of restaurant survival. Twisted Vine cleverly creates healthy but vaguely exotic salads, such as the eggplant salad, which mixes fresh greens with grilled eggplant, feta cheese and carmelized pecans. Enjoy with a glass of wine for a quiet lunch retreat.
