Sassi is Italian for ''rocks,'' referring to the terrain in the Pinnacle Peak area of Scottsdale. This $10 million restaurant delights, with tile roofs, fountains, fireplaces and five dining rooms, each with a patio. Structures are designed to replicate a farmhouse-turned-country estate, situated on six scenic acres. Wade Moises, a Mario Batali alumnus, is both true-to-tradition and inventive with made-in-house pastas and top-quality steaks, seafood and chops with a Sicilian spin.
