In Short
This is chef Tomas Maggiore's third Valley location. He is a Sicilian native who emigrated to Arizona in 1977 by way of New York, and his Maggiore's restaurants are equally praised by tourists and locals. Highlights here include the lobster ravioli and scampi--ravioli stuffed with de-shelled lobster and asparagus served with sauted butterfly prawns and mushrooms in a white wine, lemon and butter sauce. The tiramisu is a favored dessert--ladyfingers soaked in Grand Marnier layered with mascarpone cheese.
